The priest who is preparing you for marriage will help you obtain the following documents:
Baptism Certificate(s): The baptism certificate must be acquired within the last six months.
Questionnaire for Witnesses: (two are needed for each one) The questionnaires can be purchased at the parish.
Prenuptial Questionnaire: Questions regarding your freedom to marry and your perspective on Christian marriage.
California State Marriage License: The wedding cannot take place if this license is not presented.
Confirmation Certificate(s): If it can be held without serious inconveniences. Catholics who have not yet received the sacrament of confirmation should receive it before being admitted to marriage.
They will be required to attend one of the pre-marriage preparation programs approved by the Archdiocese. Participation in one of these programs must be completed three months before the wedding. For more marriage preparation information click here.
The father/deacon who is preparing you for your marriage will provide you with more information regarding the program he wants you to attend.
Parishioners: $500.00 (registered for at least one year)
Non-parishioners: $1,000.00
Church Fee Deposit: $200 to secure your wedding date.
The remaining fee amount must be paid one month before the wedding:
Musician Fee: $250.00
Wedding Coordinator: $500.00
